"Honestly? I don't think he's in it for the money, or to be the best engineer or anything. I mean, that's never been the impression I got. I think it's kind of like my work with the animals at the shelter. I love my job and I'd do it for free if I didn't have bills to pay." Shrugging in kind, taking the seat across from Dib. It was easier in booths for him because even if they were a bit cumbersome to move in, he wouldn't be as likely to turn his head and black someone's eye this way. At the question of working with Cass, he nodded and tucked his bag under the table out of the way. "Yeah, he got there after I did and he's been really helpful with things in general. I like him, he's pretty cool to talk to and work with and everything. He makes really good cookies, too. Even if some of them are pretty casually offensive." He grinned, shaking his head a bit as he recalled the last time Cass had brought in a small package of baked good, several cookies bearing phrases he'd decided were specifically to confuse and/or fluster him. "I wasn't aware he was into the whole mad scientist thing."
